India Reports second Death Due To Coronavirus.

A 68-year-old woman in Delhi became the second Death due to coronavirus on Friday. The death was caused due to co-morbidity (diabetes and hypertension), it said, adding she had examined positive for COVID-19. The woman was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, officials said.

She became the second person to die of coronavirus infection in the country. The first death was reported On Thursday in Karnataka.

Karnataka state government said a 76-year-old man who died on Tuesday had been confirmed as a coronavirus carrier. And that it was trying to trace those who had been in touch with him.

We have sufficient beds for quarantine facilities,” the Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said in announcing the measures.

Arvind Kejriwal ordered the closure of schools, cinemas, and theatres until at least March 31. And said empty public housing blocks and hospitals under construction could be used to quarantine those infected.

Italy on Friday registered its highest one-day casualty toll yet with 250 deaths registered over the past 24 hours. Taking the total deaths to 1,266, with 17,660 infections overall. The global tool has now crossed 5,000 and the virus has infected over 135,165 people.
