Rishi Kapoor: Bollywood Legendary Evergreen Actor Died Of Cancer at 67.

Kapoor made his debut as a child actor in his father Raj Kapoor’s film ‘Mera Naam Joker’ and won the National award for best child artist. ‘Bobby’ was the first movie as a leading actor. After which Rishi become the romantic hero of the industry of his days.

On Thursday 30 Apr Bollywood legendary actor Rishi Kapoor died of cancer. He was aged 67. Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. After two years of battle with leukemia, Rishi took last breath at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Kapoor was returned to India last year in September after a year-long treatment in Newyork USA.

A day before, Actor Irrfan Khan has passed away due to Neuroendocrine tumor. This shocked Bollywood industry and fans as two big stars left this world during this Corona Pandemic, where all country is under lockdown. Only a few people were available for their cremation and Janaza.

The actor’s family confirmed his death in a message,

Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 0845 IST in hospital after a two-year battle with Leukemia.

Rishi Kapoor was cremated at tha Chandanwadi Crematorium in South Mumbai. Only a few members were permitted at funeral due to lockdown including wife Neetu Singh, Son Ranbir Kapoor, Elder brother Randheer Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor along with husband Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachhan, Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Anil Ambani were present at the funeral.

Meanwhile many Ministers, Celebrities, and Fan’s paid tribute to evergreen romantic hero.

President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi says Rishi was passionate about films and India’s progress.

Salman Khan who worked with Rishi Kapoor in movie Ye hai Jalwa and Tell Me Oh Khhuda tweeted,” Rest in peace Chintu Sirrr, Kaha suna maaf, strength, peace and light to family.”

Rishi Kapoor amazed people with his charismatic acting skills and talent in movies like ‘D-Day’, ‘Mulk’, ‘Agneepath’, ‘Karz’, ‘Rafoochakkar’ and ‘102 Not Out’ with Amitabh Bachchan. And would become the last movie of his career.
